Our head coach is the amazing Kerris Weatherley, who leads a great team. They provide various coaching options:
Adult Improver Course
The club usually runs one or two Improver courses a year, starting in April and September, at a cost of £100. These are group coaching courses designed to getting beginners or players who are a little rusty up to social tennis standards. These courses are a great success and many full members start with the club on these courses.
The course includes :
- 10 weekly one-hour coaching lessons followed by practice time
- 6 months membership of club
- use of club facilities with specified practice times and the opportunity to book free courts
At the end of the six month Improver membership, if a general standard of play has been reached, there is the opportunity to upgrade to full membership and enjoy all the benefits the club can offer.
In 2020 the Spring course starts on Thursday 30th April, 7-8 pm and 10-11 am. The Autumn course starts on Thursday 12th September and will comprise two evening sessions.
If you are interested in these courses, contact the Improver Liaison.

We have a thriving junior section with over 100 children, most of whom attend coaching sessions throughout the week. Even though we focus on skill and technical development of every child, we try to base most of the learning on fun and enjoyment, without the pressures that sport can cause. Our main aim is for children to enjoy tennis into adulthood.
In addition to these term-time sessions, Kerris organises courses during Easter and Summer holidays.
Members can arrange their own group coaching as required. Occasional free cardio or doubles coaching is offered by the club; advertised by email, on the website or on the noticeboards.
Private coaching can be booked through Kerris Weatherley.
