We have a thriving Junior section with over 100 children of all ages. While we focus on the skill and technical development of every child, we try to base most of the learning in fun and enjoyment, without the pressures that sport can cause. Our main aim is for children to enjoy tennis into adulthood.

Junior and Parent memberships

Junior and Parent memberships are available – and are ideal for families to play together.

Junior membership costs £25 per annum per child. However, Juniors participating in our after-school coaching groups do not need a separate member of the club.

Parent membership is £55 per annum per parent.

Please note that coaching is not included in membership and any coaching fees are payable to head coach Kerris Weatherley.

Please note that junior members under 14 are not permitted to play at the club unsupervised as in the event of an accident the child would not be covered by the Club’s insurance. (With the exception of certain Juniors aged 14+ authorised by the Head Coach and with the knowledge of their parents. However, they are not permitted to bring guests.)

Full membership discount rate for competitive Juniors

For Juniors who play at a high standard and would benefit from playing with adults, we offer a special discount rate on full membership. Juniors aged 14 to 17 can take up full membership for £50 per annum.

Regular junior coaching

Junior coaching takes place throughout the week, based on age range and stage of skill development. Juniors are coached using the LTA’s Mini tennis framework, before progressing on to full (Yellow ball) game coaching.

Juniors do not have to have a Junior Membership to attend the coaching sessions.
